Council of Clubs plans fashion show

The Jefferson City Council of Clubs is hosting its annual Fall Fashion Show at noon Oct. 17 at Capitol Plaza Hotel.
Fall styles will be presented by Calena’s, Dillards, Saffees, Samuel’s Tuxedo and Victoria’s Bridal with footwear from American Shoe.
Proceeds from the show will benefit Salvation Army Center of Hope Homeless Shelter, Common Ground Community Building and Community Breast Care Project.

Council of Clubs, first begun in 1916, is an organization composed of delegates from 26 clubs in the Jefferson City community. Their mission is to assist in meeting the health needs of the community by sponsoring and implementing community programs; to desseminate information to member groups; and to promote civic welfare through other activities such as the fashion show.
