Lady Crusaders snap softball losing skid

ELDON, Mo. - The Helias Lady Crusaders got a much-needed victory Thursday, topping Eldon 10-5.

Lindsey Steinbeck picked up the win, tossing five innings and allowing one earned run on six hits with three strikeouts. Paige Bange pitched the final two innings, allowing three hits and striking out three.

Lauren Morrow led the offense with three hits and five RBI. Bange and Kaylie LeCuru added three hits and two RBI apiece. Kaysie Scheuler and Hayley Strope both collected two hits.

Helias (7-18) hosts its own tournament this weekend at Binder Park.

Helias won the JV game 9-4.
