Fulton women hurt in deer-car crash

Two Fulton women sustained minor injuries when their Ford Taurus hit a deer while traveling eastbound on US 54 at Tolwood Road in Miller County around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 29-year-old driver Mandi Gardner and Amanda Belisle, 35, were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital where they were treated and released.

The vehicle sustained moderate damage and both women were wearing a seat belt.
