WESTPHALIA - A hat trick propelled Calvary/Tolton to its first postseason soccer victory in program history.

Noah Lawrence scored Calvary/Tolton's first three goals as the fourth-seeded Lions eased past fifth-seeded Iberia 5-0 in the opening round of the Class 1 District 8 Tournament on Monday at Knights of Columbus Field.

Daniel Bollinger assisted on Lawrence's first two tallies.

Cainan Whittle and Sam Molli tacked on the final two goals.

Evan Brenner picked up the shutout in goal.

Calvary/Tolton (5-9-1) now faces top-seeded Fatima (16-8) in a district semifinal at 7 p.m. today. Second-seeded Dixon (11-6) and third-seeded Belle (9-7) play in the other semifinal at 5 p.m.

The title game will be at 6 p.m. Thursday.
