The Jefferson City Post 5 American Legion Juniors won the Sedalia Tournament with a pair of victories Sunday.
Post 5 defeated Sedalia 9-1. Collin Luebbering allowed two hits in five innings to pick up the victory. James Reinkemeyer went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Landon Mouse had a two run single.
The Juniors defeated a team from Fort Osage 13-3 to win the title game. Cody Stegeman, Sam Bowles and Alec Verhoff combined on a one-hitter. Mouse went 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Post 5 outscored its opponents 51-6 during the four games of the tournament.
