Helias opened the tennis season with a 6-3 loss to Fulton on Wednesday at Washington Park.

Jeremy Wolters teamed with T.J. Hagenhoff to get an 8-2 victory in doubles.

In singles, Helias got victories for Zach Yungbluth (8-1) and Hagenhoff (8-2).

In JV action, Adam Bexten and Diego Ballesteros picked up an 8-2 win in doubles. David Huber won 8-5 in singles action.

The Crusaders are back in action Monday at Hickman.
