Bartlett & West collecting shoes for charity

The Jefferson City office of Bartlett & West, 1719 Southridge Drive, Suite 100, is holding a shoe drive to benefit the Shoeman Water Projects, which drill water wells in Africa.

Between now and April 3, shoes can be dropped off at the office between 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

The public is encouraged to clean out their closets and bring in shoes, sandals and boots for a good cause. The items do not have to be in good condition.

The pairs in good shape go to a resale shop, and the ones in disrepair go to a recycling center.
