TROY - Jefferson City opened its soccer season with a 2-1 victory against Troy on Friday night.
Eden Hoogveld and Natalie Vance picked up goals for the Lady Jays. Sarah Luebbert picked up both assists for Jefferson City.
The Lady Jays play Hazelwood Central in the Hazelwood Classic at 4 p.m. Monday.
Jefferson City won the JV game 4-1. Justice Neely had two goals. Dara Mobley and Ann Eswine had goals for the Lady Jays.
