I have to comment on the article about "Officials mull using $1.7M for HP pool." They have got to be kidding!
What is this - an Olympic sized pool 30 foot deep? A residence can excavate the yard and install an inground pool for under $50K and it's supposed to cost $1.7M to "renovate" this pool?
No wonder this country is in the mess it is; this example of mindless money squandering by elected officials is too typical of today's government.
