Arriana Walker won the battle but lost the war.
Lincoln’s senior guard put on a brilliant performance with 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting, nine rebounds and four assists. But it wasn’t enough, as Lincoln dropped a 77-67 decision Wednesday night to No. 11 Central Missouri at Jason Gym.
“Arriana looks like she’s playing with a chip on her shoulder,” Lincoln head coach Nicole Collier said. “She looks like the Arriana that used to play last year. I think she may be realizing that time is running out.
“We fought hard with No. 11. We were just out-manned.”
