Dear Editor:
A recent letter to the editor stated we should remove the guns from the sub-group of our population that has a high probability of gun violence.
Other than the criminals that will always have the ability to obtain a firearm, I wonder whom the writer was talking about?
If we look at the affiliations of the last several mass shooters, what do we find? They were all, without exception, left wing wing-nuts. To put it so an Obamabot can understand, they had a close association with Democrats in that they were progressive liberals. I guess we have the answer, remove the guns from Democrats.
Their political leaders want to take our guns away from us or make it almost impossible to purchase one. I can only assume that they what to disarm unilaterally as a good faith gesture. They want to "just get along"? I would bet that even though these smarter than everyone else Democrats want to take our guns away; they don't want to take the guns away from their body guards! From whom do these elitists want protection from anyway?
If you look at the political affiliation of the recent mass shooters, I guess you can say that they are concerned about their own people, Democrats or those that have similar beliefs, which are in line with Democrats!
Ft. Hood - radical Muslim who supported Al Qaeda and Hamas.
Columbine - too young to vote; both families were progressive liberals.
Virginia Tech - wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff.
Colorado theater - staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal.
Connecticut school shooter - hated Christians.
In a previous letter I submitted, I shared that there are many people that have used their firearm to protect themselves or their family members or someone else in an establishment that they were carrying their gun in. Don't remove my gun, but remove the gun from the nuts.
By the way, Timothy McVeigh didn't use an assault rifle to kill all those people in Oklahoma City; he used motor racing fuel and fertilizer. He killed 168 people including 19 children and wounding 450 others. I suppose we should ban motor racing fuel and fertilizer. I guess we do as you can't get the strength fertilizer you once could get to put on your lawn.
Think about it, guns don't kill: people do!
