Jays edge NW Cedar Hill to win Hickman Invitational title

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Jefferson City Jays finished with 310 team points in the two-day Hickman Wrestling Invitational. They needed every one of them.

After the final round of wrestling Saturday, the Jays edged Northwest Cedar Hill by one point to take team honors in the 12-school event. Lee’s Summit North was a distant third with 240 points, one point ahead of C.B.C.

The Jays had a pair of individual champions.
