LU men look for momentum after win against Northwest
Saturday, January 19, 2013
The Lincoln men hope the momentum can continue.
After upsetting then-firstplace Northwest Missouri State on Wednesday night on the road, the Blue Tigers travel to Lindenwood for a 3 p.m. tipoff today.
Lincoln (3-14, 2-5 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association) looks for its first winning streak since the 2008-09 season. Standing in the way are the red-hot Lions (10-4, 3-3 MIAA), who have won six of their last seven games.
On the other hand, the Lincoln women are trying to reverse the momentum.
The Blue Tigers hope to snap a three-game losing streak when they take on Lindenwood at 1 p.m. today.
The matchup between Lincoln (7-8, 2-5 MIAA) and Lindenwood (4-10, 1-5 MIAA) looks to be about even.
