ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police in St. Louis are looking for the 2-year-old daughter of a woman found dead among roadside weeds on the city’s north side earlier this week.
Police identified the woman Thursday as 27-year-old Tatiana McNeil. The death has been ruled a homicide, although the cause has not been determined and police say there are no suspects.
Railroad workers found the body Tuesday afternoon. Police say it had been there about a week and showed signs of trauma.
St. Louis police Capt. Michael Sack says McNeil had a 7-year-old child, who has been located. But police are still trying to find a 2-year-old daughter, named Tiana.
Sack says officers are hoping the toddler is with an acquaintance of McNeil.
