MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Brittney Griner scored 29 points and top-ranked Baylor routed undersized Kansas State 90-69 on Wednesday night for its 27th consecutive regular season Big 12 victory.
Brooklyn Pope added 12 points and Kimetria Hayden had 11 for the Lady Bears (15-1, 5-0), who have won 13 straight overall since losing to then-No. 4 Stanford early in the year.
The Wildcats managed to stay close in the first half by making eight 3-pointers, but they went cold after the break and the Lady Bears answered with a 21-3 run to put the game away.
Kansas State wound up hitting 13 of a school-record 44 3-point attempts.
Brittany Chambers had four of them and finished with 23 points for the Wildcats (10-7, 1-4), whose only victory since December came by a point to Big 12 bottom-dweller TCU.
No. 4 DUKE 58, VIRGINIA TECH 26
DURHAM, N.C. (AP) - Elizabeth Williams scored 20 points to keep Duke unbeaten with a rout of Virginia Tech.
The Blue Devils (16-0, 5-0 ACC), who are the only undefeated team left in Division I basketball, have won 18 straight in the series, the last eight all by double digits.
Williams, who had her fourth 20-point game of the season, finished with eight rebounds. Chelsea Gray chipped in 12 points, while Haley Peters had five points to go with 10 rebounds.
Monet Tellier led the Hokies (7-10, 1-5) with 10 points. Ugu Ugoka had four points - on 2-for-13 shooting - and nine rebounds.
Duke shot 35.4 percent from the floor to 26.7 for Tech. The Blue Devils won the rebounding battle 49-34 and had 16 turnovers to the Hokies' 27.
Duke's next game is Monday night at No. 3 Connecticut.
No. 18 DAYTON 95, LA SALLE 47
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - Amber Deane scored 20 points and Dayton shot a season-best 57.6 percent to rout La Salle.
The Flyers (14-1, 2-0) were even hotter in the first half, when they shot 70 percent (21 of 30) to grab a 51-22 halftime lead.
Dayton's pace slowed at the start of the second half, when it went nearly 3 minutes without a point, but the situation continued to worsen for the Explorers (5-12, 1-1). They scored two points in the first 7 minutes.
Cassie Sant scored 15 points, Kelley Austria 14 and Olivia Applewhite 13 for the Flyers, who got eight each from Ally Malott, Samantha MacKay and Andrea Hoover. Deane and Applewhite had 10 rebounds apiece.
Ebonee Jones had 12 points and Brittany Wilson 10 for La Salle, which was coming off a 72-46 win over Rhode Island.
