Library adopts new mission, vision statements

The Missouri River Regional Library board approved new mission and vision statements for the library during its meeting Tuesday night.

The new mission states, “The Mission of Missouri River Regional Library is to promote development of the community by providing access to a diverse selection of resources and programs to address the educational, professional and recreational needs of the residents of Cole and Osage Counties.”

The new vision states, “Missouri River Regional Library will be a vibrant organization that attracts and stimulates a thriving community of life-long learners.”
