Lincoln stopped Pittsburg State's freshman phenom. It just couldn't stop the Gorillas' senior stars.
Freshman Kaleb Porter came in as Pittsburg State's leading scorer at 15.8 points per game. Lincoln held him to nine points on 3-of-12 shooting.
It was four seniors, however, who led the Gorillas to an 85-63 victory against the Blue Tigers on Thursday night at Jason Gym.
"Other than the little guard, the first time we played them, I knew the capabilities of the other people," Lincoln head coach John Redmond said.
