Local banker began career as Army Ranger
Local resident Chris Wood, a vice-president with Jefferson Bank, credits his time in the U.S. Army as having provided the guidance necessary to determine the direction of his career.

After graduating from South Callaway High School in 2000, local resident Chris Wood reached a point where a major life decision had to be made — attend college or begin working a job.
Rather than be immediately forced into such a decision, he bought himself some time to determine his future by enlisting in the U.S. Army.
