Lady Crusaders overcome slow start in win against Notre Dame

The Helias Lady Crusaders needed to step it up before it was too late.

Sure, it was just the end of the first quarter Saturday afternoon at Rackers Fieldhouse, but the Lady Crusaders didn’t look good in falling behind 17-7 to the Notre Dame de Sion Storm.

That never happened. The Lady Crusaders responded in the second quarter to cut the deficit to one at intermission, then pulled away in the second half for a 49-42 victory against the Storm.
