St. Elizabeth tops Cole Camp JV

It wasn’t exactly the walk in the park you’d expect when a varsity team faces off against a junior varsity squad. It was much tougher than that.

St. Elizabeth had all kinds of trouble with the Cole Camp JV team for the first three quarters Friday evening, only taking a seven-point lead into the final period.

The Hornets then turned it on in the last eight minutes to earn a 44-26 victory in the first round of the Calvary Lutheran Tournament at the Trinity Lutheran gym.
