One person has been charged after a shots fired incident this weekend at Club Motivation on Industrial Drive.
According to Jefferson City Police Department reports, on Saturday at about 2 a.m. officers responded to a call of multiple shots fired at the club.
According to callers, 4-5 gunshots were fired from someone in a vehicle parked on the lot.
Officers arrived on scene and began to interview people and information was developed that the shots were fired from the driver of a white Buick.
Officers contacted the driver and the occupants of the Buick, who were extremely uncooperative.
During the investigation, officers noticed a black handgun in the vehicle, along with unspent rounds of ammunition and a Ruger firearm bag.
Three spent shell casings were located near the vehicle.
Based on the information received and interviews, officers arrested Eboni Bifford, a 26 year old Cole County resident.
She had been charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
No one was injured in this incident.

Ditto on that! It should be closed down as a public nuisance.

Sounds like they attract the wrong element out there. I doubt Ms Eboni was defending herself. I believe people should be allowed to carry firearms, but getting liquored up or "messed up" and shooting a few rounds is not the right image for law abiding 2nd amendment supporters.

Council, why do we continue to allow this business to operate? Eventually we will have a fatality involved! I would say if you have the employees STRAPPED to control the dance it is time to put an end to it. ROB

Closing the place down or even giving it extra attention would be like controlling guns where they are doing the real illegal damage.
It would be waaaaaycist.
