Cougars stay perfect

FULTON, Mo. - The Columbia College Cougars wrapped up a perfect regular season with a 74-69 win Saturday against William Woods.

The Cougars, who are ranked No. 1 in the nation among NAIA schools, improved to 30-0 overall and 16-0 in the American Midwest Conference.

Zach Rockers (Helias High School) had eight points for Columbia College.

The Cougars will host a first-round game in the AMC postseason tournament Thursday. They will play the winner of Tuesday's game between Benedictine-Springfield and Hannibal-LaGrange.
