Stiles leads St. Elizabeth to district final

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Savannah Stiles poured in a game-high 25 points as St. Elizabeth downed Macks Creek 56-32 in a Class 1 District 6 semifinal game Friday.

The Lady Hornets led 12-6 after the first quarter, 28-9 at halftime and 41-15 after three quarters.

Allie Heckemeyer had 14 points and 10 rebounds to go along with five blocks.

Julie Hix led Macks Creek with 13 points.

St. Elizabeth (20-7), the No. 2 seed, takes on top-seeded Weaubleau for the district title at 2:30 p.m. today in Bolivar.

Weaubleau defeated Tuscumbia 82-76 in the other semifinal game.
