Four teens hurt in Monday accident

Four New Bloomfield teenagers were treated for non-life threatening injuries after a one vehicle accident in Jefferson City, Monday afternoon.

Police reports show Paige Rager, 16, was going west in the 1200 block of U.S. 54 just before 5 p.m..

The driver lost control on the wet pavement, crossed the driving passing lane and struck the concrete center barrier.

The vehicle then rolled over and crossed back over both lanes, coming to rest in the western most median.

Rager and the passengers in the vehicle, Megan Jenkins, 15, Derek Shikles, 15, and Tucker Lane, 15, were all wearing their seat belts.
