Girls Basketball: St. Elizabeth 61, Jamestown 36

ST. ELIZABETH, Mo. — Not much went wrong in the first half for St. Elizabeth on Saturday.

The Lady Hornets raced out to a 36-15 lead at halftime and knocked off Jamestown 61-36.

Savannah Stiles finished with 21 points. Paige Otto and Allie Heckemeyer each had double-doubles. Otto finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds while Heckemeyer had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Lexi Muri and Mackenzie Strother led Jamestown with 14 points each.

St. Elizabeth plays again Monday at home against Eugene.

The Lady Hornets won Saturday’s two-quarter JV game 35-8.
