Several area American Field Service (AFS) exchange students and their host siblings came together to tour the Capitol and enjoy a holiday party, which followed at the home of Patrick and Becky Lynn on Sunday.
A highlight of the tour was climbing to the top of the Capitol dome and going outside for the view.
Participants and their hosts families included: Yoann Foti from Switzerland, who is staying with Becky and Patrick Lynn; Ryoko Asakuma from Japan, who is staying with Barbara and James Howard; Coni Gonzalez from Chile, who is staying with Kathleen and Dana Frese; Wisa Sawichako from Thailand, who is staying with Gayle Troutwine; Emma Whittaker from Norway, who is staying with Mary and Brian Kaiser, Sedalia; and Andres Ramirez from Chile, who is staying with Angela and Brian Pae, Fulton.
