SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Jefferson City Lady Jays dropped a 38-30 decision Thursday to Olathe (Kan.) East in the first round of the Stephanie Phillips Classic at Kickapoo High School.
Megan Foster had 10 points to lead the Lady Jays, who trailed 15-8 after one quarter and 22-12 at the half.
Jefferson City (2-3) will play McCluer North at 5:30 p.m. today in the tournament.
