Emergency personnel responded around 7:42 p.m. Thursday to a report of a tractor-trailer overturned along Route B in southern Cole County.
Initial reports indicate the wreck blocked one lane of the road about a mile south of St. Thomas. Authorities were directing or stopping traffic while crews worked to clear the road.
The driver exited the truck and reportedly did not receive substantial injuries.
The cause of the crash was not initially released while the investigation continues, but officers reported slick roads in the area and requested highway crews respond to treat the roadway.
