KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A body found submerged in a pond northeast of Kansas City has been positively identified as a 20-year-old Kansas City man who had been missing for more than two weeks.

The Kansas City Star ( ) reports the Clay County Sheriff’s office announced Wednesday the body had been confirmed as Robert Seth Walter, who was last seen Aug. 3 in Kansas City. A couple spotted his car in the pond Sunday and contacted authorities.
