Kim English is headed to Italy.
The former Missouri Tiger and Detroit Piston signed a deal with Italian powerhouse Montepaschi Siena on Tuesday.
The Pistons released English last month following a rookie season where the shooting guard averaged 2.9 points and 0.9 rebounds in 41 games played.
Montepaschi Siena has won the Italian League seven years in a row.
English's contract with the team includes an NBA out until Aug. 22.
Early Tuesday evening, English sent out a message on his Twitter account saying simply, "Ciao!"
English averaged 14.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game during his senior season at Missouri in 2011-12.
