Red Cross helping area flood victims

Area Red Cross volunteers are responding to families in Miller, Camden and Osage counties after floodwaters damaged their homes.

Two families in Miller County, one who lived on Missouri 42 West near Iberia, and another who lived on Old 10 Mile Road near Eugene, are staying with relatives.

Volunteers assisted the Iberia family, two adults and a one-year-old child, with food, infant formula, clothing and shoes. The Eugene family, two adults, received help with food and clothing.

Chapter volunteers have worked with a Camden County family of two who lived on Parkway Road.

Volunteers also worked with two adults who live on Osage County Road 703 near Cooper Hill and with a Linn family, who live on Rollins Ferry Road.
