The Helias Lady Crusaders were recently honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association as the recipients of the 2012-13 AVCA Team Academic Award.
It's the 10th year in a row Helias has received the award. The Lady Crusaders combined to post a team GPA of 3.714 for the 2012-13 school year.
Team members were Haley Bax, Kayla Binkley, Sidney Lammers, Kaylee Pecher, Brittney Engelbrecht, Tori Keller, Anna Murphy, Lindsey Griggs, Erica Haslag, Molly Sandbothe, Laura Schieber, Tory Wiley and Blake Berhorst.
