SEDALIA, Mo. - The Jefferson City American Legion Post 5 Seniors lost just seven games all season.
Unfortunately for the local club, two of them came in back-to-back games at the Senior State Tournament.
Post 5 followed up Thursday's 4-2, first-round loss to Eureka with a 7-5 loss Friday to Joplin. Those results eliminated the Post 5 Seniors from the double-elimination event and ended their season with a record of 39-7.
No game details from either contest were available at press time.
The tournament is scheduled to conclude today.
