PLATTE CITY, Mo. (AP) - A northwest Missouri man was sentenced to 180 years in prison for sexually abusing two young girls over a four-year period.
Daryl D. Lemasters of Platte City was sentenced Thursday to six consecutive 30-year sentences. He was convicted in June on six charges related to the abuse of two girls, ages 11 and 9.
The Kansas City Star reports (http://bit.ly/1bOKsra ) that prosecutors said Lemasters began abusing each girl when they were about 5 years old and the abuse continued for four years.
Lemasters was a Cub Scout leader in an area pack from 2000 to 2010.
