LINN - Ben Brandt smacked a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Linn past South Callaway 6-5 on Monday night.
The game-winning hit was part of a solid night for Brandt, who collected two hits and two RBI.
Ryan Mantle added a hit and two RBI. He also pitched the first six innings and struck out eight.
Alec Shoop picked up the win by tossing an inning of relief.
Linn (10-4) travels to Tuscumbia today.
Linn won the JV game 3-1.
