COLUMBIA - Jefferson City and Helias couldn't stay up with some of the state's best Monday in the Columbia Golf Classic.
Jefferson City took 10th out of 14 teams with a 362 and Helias finished 12th with a 371. Rockhurst took first with a 308, Park Hill South was second with 310 and Rock Bridge placed third with 319.
Gabe Trowbridge carded the low score for Jefferson City with an 84, Travis Roberts shot an 87, Andrew Hansen had a 92 and Brennan Horn carded a 99.
Brandon Tomlinson led the Helias with an 87, Nick Rehagen was next with a 91, Andrew Schaumburg carded a 93 and Clay Carroll shot 100.
Jefferson City and Helias are back in action Thursday at the William Woods Invitational.
