Residents experienced lightning in the area before a fire broke out at a condo complex on Horseshoe Bend at the Lake of the Ozarks.
The blaze on Tuesday night at the Water's Edge property off Route HH prompted a two-alarm response from local fire departments. Three vacant units were destroyed.
A thunderstorm was hitting the area when flames broke out. Lightning is believed to be the cause of the blaze, which could be seen for miles.

We live off of HH and the lightening last night was horrible. Very glad no one was injured.
