Hundreds of area students will see 19th century craftsmanship and daily life hardships on Wednesday at the Noren Access in north Jefferson City.
The Discovery Expedition of St. Charles will float two pirogues — replicas of those used by Meriwether Lewis and William Clark on the 1801-04 Corps of Discovery military expedition — to Jefferson City along the Missouri River.
The volunteer crew of about 20 will arrive Tuesday evening, being greeted by members of the Jefferson City Lewis and Clark Task Force. The crew will set up a ....
