Jefferson City routs Moberly in soccer

The Jefferson City Jays are averaging five goals in their eight wins. That’s very good.

In those eight wins, the Jays have given up zero goals and just three in their two losses. With the question marks they had on the defensive side entering the season, that’s outstanding.

“We haven’t given up a goal in the run of play this season, that has me excited,” Jays coach Eddie Horn said after Jefferson City’s 7-0 blanking Monday night of the Moberly Spartans at the 179 Soccer Park.
