Jefferson City hosts Capital City Invitational

The Jefferson City Jays want to use this weekend as a chance to build toward the future.

For the Helias Crusaders, it’s an opportunity to see where they stack up against some quality competition.

Whatever your goals, the Capital City Soccer Invitational figures to be a stiff test.

“Traditionally, this has been an important weekend to our season,” Jays coach Eddie Horn said. “This is the type of weekend that will hopefully get us prepared for what will be a brutal stretch of games in October.”

The Jays (3-2) will be the host with the most in the Invitational. The most games, anyway.
