Enrollment increases at New Bloomfield schools

Enrollment in the New Bloomfield schools is 686 students, an increase of about 10 students from last year, Superintendent David Tramel told the school board Thursday night.

Tramel said 384 students were enrolled in grades 6 through 12 and the remaining 302 students were in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and first through fifth grades.

I hope they learn quickly about the kind of district it is sooner rather than later.

They got rid of a lot of problems last year. Now if they would just consolidate with Jeff City, Fulton, or Southern Boone, they could do so much better for their kids.

NB is doing just fine, thank you. Our enrollment increases because people don't want to send their kids to Jeff City, Fulton or Southern Boone.
