Jefferson City, South Callaway move up in football rankings

Two Central Missouri teams moved up one spot in this week’s Missouri high school prep football rankings.

The Jefferson City Jays climbed to No. 5 in Class 6 after their 49-39 win last Friday over Fayetteville, Ark.

The South Callaway Bulldogs (3-0) are now No. 9 in Class 2.

The other three ranked area teams maintained their positions.

The Helias Crusaders (2-1) stayed at No. 2 in Class 4 after their 27-0 blanking of Quincy Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.
