Jacie Coari trial to pull jury from Warren County
Tuesday, September 11, 2012
In Jacie Coari's pretrial conference Monday, her defense attorney and Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Chris Wilson agreed to pull the jury for her upcoming trial from Warren County. Both prosecutors and the defense agreed to a tentative trial range of June or July 2013.
Coari, of Mexico, Mo., is charged with two counts of second-degree murder and first-degree robbery. Coari allegedly waited in the car while her husband, Ryan Coari, murdered Michael J. Wieberg and his daughter, Amanda, and burned down Michael Wieberg’s home near Auxvasse in September 2011.
Following the murders, the couple left for Michigan, where they were caught and extradited back to Callaway County. Ryan Coari faces two charges of first-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action and second-degree arson.
