Squads each play pair of games in Capital City Invitational

Several area teams played a pair of games each in Saturday’s rain-shortened Capital City Invitational.
The Blair Oaks Falcons and Fatima Lady Comets snagged a pair of wins in the event at Binder Park, while the Helias Lady Crusaders went 1-1.
In its first game, Blair Oaks dropped Lutheran South 12-2 in five innings. Blair Oaks then dropped Fulton 11-1 in five innings.
The Lady Comets started the day with an 8-0 win over Centralia. Fatima then dumped Camdenton 12-2.
Helias opened with a 2-1 loss to Lee’s Summit North. Helias came back to rout Lutheran South 14-7.
