Fatima remains unbeaten in volleyball

HERMANN — Fatima kept its unbeaten streak going to open the season, scratching out a 25-18, 25-19 victory over Hermann on Thursday night.

JoAnna Muenks tallied seven kills, seven blocks and three aces. Kayla Nilges recorded five blocks, three kills and two aces. Brianna Kempker had 17 assists and five blocks. Morgan Bax had four kills while Angela Keilholz added seven digs.

Fatima (4-0) plays Saturday in the Fulton Tournament.

Fatima won the JV game 25-15, 20-25, 25-18. The Lady Comets also won the freshman game 25-27, 25-21, 25-19.
