Four area teams climb in prep football rankings

Four area teams moved up in their respective classes in this week’s state high school football rankings.

The Jefferson City Jays (2-0) climbed one spot to No. 6 in the Class 6 rankings.

The Helias Crusaders (1-1) are back to No. 2 in Class 4.

The Blair Oaks Falcons (2-0) are No. 4 in Class 2, while South Callaway (2-0) fell one spot in the Class 2 rankings.

The Tipton Cardinals (2-0) moved up two spots to No. 3 in Class 1.
