Dispute over bag of chips leads to stabbing in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police say an argument over a bag of Cheetos ended with a man being stabbed to death.

Authorities say two homeless men were quarreling over the snack Tuesday night on a downtown street near the city's convention center. A 42-year-old man was stabbed and later died at a hospital. His name has not been released.

Police on bike patrol chased down the 49-year-old suspect. He is jailed but formal charges have not been filed.
