Depth no longer a problem for Missouri basketball

COLUMBIA, Mo. — A year ago, it was difficult for the Missouri basketball team to find enough players to fill out uniforms.

Now, Missouri coach Frank Haith is rattling off the names of players he thinks can score 20 points a night.

What a difference a year makes as Haith enters his second season at Missouri.

“There’s no doubt we have a lot of guys that can score the ball,” Haith said as the Tigers prepared to open the exhibition portion of their schedule at 7 p.m. today at Mizzou Arena against Northwest Missouri State.
