Chamber names top employee, small business

Capital Mortgage Solutions has been named the 2012 Small Business of the Year.

At the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Award Breakfast, Brandon Wooley, president of Capital Mortgage Solutions, was presented the award. The business, which also was nominated last year, was one of 19 nominated, beating out three other finalists - Café Via Roma, G2 Gallery and Wallstreet Group.

The 2012 Exceptional Employee Award was given to John Lipskotch with Huber & Associates, an information technology company.
