Lady Jays second, Jays third at cross country districts

With five runners in the top 16, the Jefferson City Lady Jays were poised to win the Class 4 District 5 title. But Rock Bridge was a halfstep faster.

The Lady Bruins edged the Lady Jays by one point for the title Saturday morning at Cole County Park.
